Dr. Joe Fry is a mongrel academic / creative complete with realistic beard and glasses. He gained his PhD. in the UK exploring the ways in which organisations manage the Creative Process, and then joined Google to lead Creative Strategy for the ZOO in Europe back in 2011. After just about getting the hang of things there, he made the jump to Asia Pacific and has been living and working out of Tokyo for the last two years, where he has become heavily addicted to ramen and hi-balls. In almost all situations, he would rather be playing the piano.

As President of Disney Animation, Andrew Millstein oversees all business operations and production for the Walt Disney Animation Studios and Disneytoon Studios. He has been part of the team responsible for revitalizing Disney's feature animation divisions with such recent theatrical hits as the #1 animated film of all time, Academy Award®-winning Frozen, the Oscar®-winning Big Hero 6, Wreck-It Ralph, Tangled, and The Princess and the Frog, and the Disneytoon film franchises, Fairies and Planes.

Millstein joined The Walt Disney Studios in May 1997 as a Production Executive in the Motion Pictures Group. He was promoted to General Manager of Dreamquest Images and The Secret Lab, Walt Disney Animation Studio’s digital division that produced the special effects for such films as 101 Dalmatians, Reign of Fire, Snow Dogs, Kangaroo Jack.

Prior to joining Disney, Millstein served as head of production for Digital Domain, and Executive Producer at Image G.

A native of Philadelphia, Millstein received a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from Haverford College, and was a Master’s candidate in Cinema and Anthropology at USC. He currently holds memberships in both ASIFA and the Visual Effects Society, and is a trustee for the Colburn School Millstein currently resides in Alta Dena, California with his wife and son.

Dan, VP at Facebook, leads the global marketing solutions teams across Asia Pacific and plays a key role in building and maintaining strategic relationships with top regional agencies and clients. He is based in Singapore.

Dan has over 20 years of executive level experience in both US-based and Asia-based roles. Prior to Facebook, he was the Vice President of Market Development at Skype, managing local marketing channels and partnerships across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas. During his tenure, Skype went thru a spin-off from eBay, ownership by a consortium led by Silver Lake PE, and was ultimately acquired by Microsoft in what was their largest ever acquisitions.

Prior to Skype, Dan was the Vice President of Emerging Markets at eBay where he managed the company's businesses in Southeast Asia, India, and the Middle East. Dan joined eBay in 2002 in California where he initially ran one of its largest business units.

Prior to eBay, Dan was the COO of Vendio – a leading eCommerce software solutions firm backed by Sequoia Capital and eventually acquired by Alibaba. Dan began his career at the Kellogg Company in various US-based marketing roles and ultimately led many of the company’s expansion activities in Asia. In his last role Dan was the General Manager of the company's Greater-China business, based in Guangzhou, China.

In his free time, Dan is active in the entrepreneurial community and helps advise tech start-ups on a range of issues from fund raising to business development.

Keith Reinhard is Chairman Emeritus of the DDB Worldwide Communications Group, Inc., one of the world’s largest and most awarded advertising agency networks. Keith is one of the few agency leaders to rise through the creative side of the business. He experienced being a writer, art director and creative group head before moving into agency management. As a working creative director, Keith and his team gave birth to McDonald’s “You Deserve a Break Today,” named the number one jingle of the 20th Century by Advertising Age magazine, as well as McDonald’s famous tongue-twister,“Two-all-beef-patties-special-sauce-lettuce-cheese-pickles-onions on a sesame seed bun.” He and his group also created State Farm’s long-running theme, “Just Like a Good Neighbor, State Farm Is There.” Over the years, his agency has been responsible for award-winning campaigns for Volkswagen, Audi, Anheuser-Busch, Michelin Tires, Philips Electronics, Diesel Jeans and many others.

In 1986, Keith was one of the architects of the advertising industry’s first and only three-way merger, creating Omnicom, which ranks as one of the world’s largest advertising and marketing services holding company. Concurrent with Omnicom’s creation, Keith accomplished the successful merger of Doyle Dane Bernbach and Needham Harper Worldwide to create the present network, DDB Worldwide, which he led as Chairman and CEO for 16 years.

A member of the Advertising Hall of Fame, Keith has been referred to as the industry’s “soft-spoken visionary” by Advertising Age, which in 1999 named him one of the 100 most influential figures in the history of advertising.

Keith is a past Chairman of the American Association of Advertising Agencies and past Chairman of the Board of Union Theological Seminary in New York. From 2002 to 2010 he was President of Business for Diplomatic Action, a not-for-profit effort he founded to enlist the U.S. business community in actions aimed at improving the perception of America in the world. Among many other civic and philanthropic activities, Keith has served on the boards of New York City Ballet and Sesame Workshop. He is currently a board member of the Starfish Foundation and Jazz at Lincoln Center where he heads the board’s Marketing Committee. He is also the author of Any Wednesday, a collection of notes on advertising and life.

Keith is the father of seven children. He and his wife Rose-Lee, live in Manhattan.

Umang Shah joined Campbell as Director of Digital Marketing & Marketing Innovation in April 2014. He partners with colleagues across Campbell’s advertising, communications, consumer affairs, public affairs, and corporate social responsibility functions.

In his role, Umang leads Campbell’s digital marketing strategy encompassing both consumer-facing communications and corporate initiatives. He oversees Campbell's digital and social media activities and policies, as well as mobile, web, CRM and emerging media activation, among paid, owned, and earned media channels.

Since joining Campbell, Umang has built out the brand’s Innovation Lab as part of a broader mission to keep the organization perpetually relevant.

Umang joined Campbell from Walmart, where he had spent two years as Director-Social Media Strategy, using social media platforms to protect, manage, and improve the company's reputation. Before that, he served as Social Media Strategist with Microsoft Corporation, Manager of Digital Marketing with Xerox, and Senior Sales Reference Program Manager with BEA Systems. He also founded his own consulting firm, Cubed Consulting.

In 2013, Umang was named a "40 Under 40" award winner by Brand Innovators. He has served on the Board of Advisors of Strategic Business Velocity Solutions since 2012, and as Social Media Strategy Advisor to VC Taskforce, which provides services to venture capitalists. He has also been a judge with the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) Social Media CODIE award in 2010 and 2011.

Umang earned his B.S. degree in information technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He has expertise in organizational design, team dynamics, digital marketing innovation, qualitative and quantitative consumer insights, and market trend analysis. He is also a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Daichi Suzuki, Ph.D. in medical science, was born in 1967. He participated in the 1984 and 1988 Olympics in swimming. He won the gold medal in the 100-meter backstroke at the 1988 Seoul Olympics,which was the first gold medal in 16 years for the Japanese swimming team. After experiencing a visiting research fellow at University of Colorado at Boulder, a guest swimming coach at Harvard University, he became a professor at Juntendo University. He assumed an important role to promote sports culture not only in Japan but also in the world as the president of Olympians Association of Japan, the president of the Japan Swimming Federation, and an executive board member of the Japanese Olympic Committee. He was named as the first commissioner of new Japan Sports Agency, a government department, established to drive the sports policy integrally in 2015.

Masahiko Uotani is President and Group CEO of Shiseido, a Japan-based beauty company founded in 1872.

He has defined his mission as rejuvenating Shiseido so that the company becomes a major global player in this industry, building on the Japanese heritage it has embraced for many years. Shiseido currently employs 50,000 people and has revenues of $8 billion from multiple prestige brands such as SHISEIDO, clé de Peau BEAUTÉ, NARS, bareMinerals and Issey Miyake fragrance.

Mr. Uotani joined Shiseido in April 2014 after more than 30 years in marketing and management at both Japanese and global FMCG companies. Among his various posts, he was CMO and CEO at Coca-Cola in Japan. Mr. Uotani is the first Shiseido president to be appointed from outside of the company in its over 140-year history. This reflects the board’s determination to evolve the company from its Japanese roots to being a leading global business. Mr. Uotani is expected to bring fresh insights to the company by leveraging his global and Japanese business experience, which he refers to as a “hybrid model.”

Mr. Uotani also serves in other roles, including vice president of Japan Cosmetic Industry Association, director of Japan Business Federation, director of Japan Marketing Association and board member of Columbia Business School Japan Alumni Club.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in 1977 from Doshisha University, a sister school of Amherst College, and a Master of Business Administration degree in 1981 from Columbia Business School in NYC. He is married to Masako and has two daughters (as well as two dogs, who are important family members.)

Paul Yonamine is the Country General Manager and President of IBM Japan. IBM Japan is the most successful and strategically important overseas unit of the IBM Corporation, with second largest revenue size next to the United States.

Mr. Yonamine has devoted his career to promoting globalization of Japanese corporate management and operations since 1979 when he joined Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company (subsequently renamed to KPMG LLP) as a CPA and management consultant supporting U.S. subsidiaries of Japanese companies. Before joining IBM Japan, Mr. Yonamine was President of Hitachi Consulting Co., Ltd. where he founded the first consulting and solutions business for Hitachi, Ltd. Prior to that, Mr. Yonamine was in the Aloha State serving as Senior Advisor to the Mayor of Honolulu, Hawaii. He was also Chairman of BearingPoint Asia Pacific, President of KPMG Consulting Japan, and National Partner-in-Charge of Japanese Practice Consulting and Managing Partner of Hawaii Operations for KPMG LLP.

Mr. Yonamine is Chair of the U.S.-Japan Council Board of Councilors and a Board Member of the American School in Japan. He also is a Member of the World Presidents Organization and Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives) in Japan. He is a graduate of the University of San Francisco, holding a B.S. in Accounting.
